The competition took place during the afternoon of Wednesday 14th September.

There were twelve entries which were randomly ordered into pairs. Each pair played a match over nine ends against every other pair – a total of 45 ends – with the leading two pairs progressing to a Final match to determine the winners.

At the end of the ‘round robin’ phase of the competition the leading three pairs were as follows::

The Final, also over nine ends, was therefore between Marian & Tony and Miles & Alan. After a see-saw battle, with both pairs ahead at different times, Miles & Alan finally triumphed by a score of 8 - 6 to bring an end to a most enjoyable afternoon’s bowling which was also, coincidentally, the final event of the 2011 season.
